KnowGap

KnowGap is a web app (with a lightweight Slack/Teams companion) that turns repeated questions and scattered answers into a living, measurable knowledge base. It connects to Slack/Teams, Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, and Zendesk, then detects “knowledge gaps” by clustering similar questions, tracking time-to-answer, and identifying where answers are inconsistent or missing. Instead of promising magic search, it focuses on operational workflows: propose an article from an accepted answer thread, route it to an owner for review, publish with versioning, and measure adoption. An AI assistant drafts summaries and suggested articles, but humans approve before anything becomes “official.” Dashboards show top recurring questions, slowest-to-answer topics, and which teams generate the most knowledge debt. The goal is fewer interruptions, faster onboarding, and less tribal knowledge trapped in chat logs.
