KnowHowOps is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that converts messy internal expertise into clean, searchable, versioned SOPs. It captures knowledge from short interviews, meeting transcripts, and existing docs, then outputs step-by-step procedures with screenshots/checklists, owners, and review dates. The app focuses on operational reality: what people actually do, not what a policy doc claims. It includes lightweight approval workflows, change logs, and “what changed” summaries so teams don’t ignore updates. The AI helps draft and structure content, but humans stay in control with required sign-off and a clear source trail (links to transcript snippets and original docs). The goal is fewer onboarding delays, fewer repeat questions, and less dependency on one “hero” employee who holds everything in their head.
