KnowVault is a web + desktop app that turns your personal document collection into a private, searchable knowledge system. Users connect folders (PDF, Word, Google Docs exports, notes, emails as .eml) and the app automatically indexes, tags, and summarizes content. A chat-style interface lets you ask questions in Hebrew or English and get answers grounded in your files, with citations and links back to the exact paragraph. Smart “Knowledge Cards” extract key entities (projects, people, decisions, dates) and build a timeline so you can recall what you decided and why. Everything is designed for privacy: local-first option (on-device indexing) or encrypted cloud sync for multi-device access. The MVP focuses on fast ingestion, strong search, and reliable citations—so it feels like an extension of your memory, not another notes app.
