KPIReconcile

KPIReconcile is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that continuously checks whether the same KPI tells different stories across dashboards, data marts, and BI tools. It connects to common warehouses and semantic layers, runs scheduled “definition parity” tests (filters, time windows, currency, attribution rules), and flags drift when a metric’s logic or upstream data changes. Instead of generic data quality checks, it focuses on business-facing numbers that executives care about: revenue, churn, CAC, pipeline, inventory, and SLA metrics. The product generates a plain-English incident report: what changed, where it changed, who owns it, and the likely impact on reported numbers. It also maintains an audit trail of KPI definitions over time so teams can explain why last month’s board deck differs from this month’s. Realistically, this won’t replace your BI stack; it reduces firefighting and credibility loss.
