LabBuddy
LabBuddy is a mobile + web app that helps middle and high school teachers run hands-on science labs with less chaos and better evidence. Teachers pick a lab template (or import one), then students follow step-by-step instructions with timers, safety checks, and quick comprehension prompts. Students capture photos, measurements, and short notes directly into a structured lab notebook that’s automatically organized and shareable. Teachers get a live dashboard showing who is stuck, who skipped safety steps, and which groups have missing data. The app generates a clean lab report draft from the collected entries (not magic: it’s a structured fill-in with optional AI phrasing help). It also supports offline mode for spotty Wi‑Fi and exports to Google Classroom/Microsoft Teams. This is realistic because it replaces paper lab packets and reduces grading friction, not because it “teaches science” better than a teacher.
