LabBuddy
LabBuddy helps high school and undergrad students turn raw lab notes into a clean, properly structured lab report. Students snap photos of handwritten notes, instrument readouts, and graphs, then the app extracts data, organizes it into sections (Aim, Method, Results, Discussion), and prompts for missing details instead of hallucinating them. It can format tables, compute basic statistics, and generate chart-ready CSVs, while keeping a strict “no data invented” policy with highlighted uncertainty flags. Teachers can optionally provide a rubric template so the output matches class expectations. The MVP focuses on common lab formats (chemistry/biology/physics) and exports to Google Docs/Word. This is an AI-assisted writing and data-cleanup tool, not a cheating engine: it emphasizes traceability, citations to source images, and a clear audit trail so students can defend their work.
