LabelGuard

LabelGuard is a web app with optional mobile scanning that catches shipping-label and carton-label mistakes before parcels leave your warehouse. It connects to your order system (Shopify, WooCommerce, ShipStation, etc.) and validates each label against the order: service level, destination, weight/zone, hazmat flags, PO requirements, and carrier rules. On the packing bench, a worker scans the order barcode and the printed label; LabelGuard instantly flags mismatches (wrong address, wrong carrier, duplicate tracking, wrong carton count) and blocks the shipment from being manifested. It also logs who packed what, when, and why an override happened, creating an audit trail that reduces chargebacks and “lost package” disputes. This is not glamorous software—adoption requires process change—but for high-volume shippers, preventing a small percentage of errors pays back quickly.
