Scan a barcode or snap a photo of the ingredient list; the app flags common non-paleo items (seed oils, added sugars, grains, legumes, emulsifiers) and explains why they’re questionable. Users can choose a strictness profile (strict paleo, primal dairy-OK, “seed-oil free,” etc.) and get a clear verdict: OK, borderline, or avoid. It also suggests cleaner swaps available at the same store and lets users build a “safe list” for repeat purchases. Realistically, this won’t replace nutrition expertise; it’s a fast decision tool for busy shoppers trying to stay consistent.
