LabelLens is an AI computer-vision inspection app for manufacturers and co-packers to catch label and packaging errors before products ship. Using a phone or a fixed webcam, it verifies that the correct label is applied, text is legible, barcodes/QR codes scan, and critical fields (SKU, lot, expiry, allergens) match the expected template. It flags common real-world issues: wrong label roll, misalignment, wrinkles, low-ink prints, missing tamper seals, and date-code smears. The app generates a simple pass/fail record with annotated images and a time-stamped audit trail to reduce chargebacks and recalls. Realistically, it won’t replace high-end industrial vision systems on ultra-fast lines, but it can cover small-to-mid operations that currently rely on human spot checks and paper logs. Pricing targets per-line subscriptions with optional on-device processing for privacy.
