LabelLint

LabelLint is a web app (with a lightweight mobile scanning companion) that audits shipping labels and packing slips in real time to prevent mis-shipments, carrier rejections, and costly address mistakes. It connects to your order system (Shopify, WooCommerce, NetSuite, ShipStation, etc.) and validates every outgoing parcel against a rules engine: address normalization, service-level compliance (e.g., hazmat, signature required), SKU-to-box constraints, and carrier-specific label requirements. Warehouse staff scan the order and the printed label; if something doesn’t match, the app blocks the shipment and shows a clear fix (reprint label, change service, split shipment, correct address). It also tracks “defect reasons” so ops leaders can see which stations, SKUs, or carriers generate the most errors and fix the root cause. This is not glamorous, but it directly reduces chargebacks and reships.
