LabelLot is a mobile + web app that turns pantry organization into a practical system: it generates consistent labels with opened-date, best-by guidance, and storage notes for common ingredients (flours, oils, spices, grains, nuts). You scan a barcode or search an ingredient, choose your container size, and it prints a clean label (QR optional). The app then tracks “opened” timers and sends low-noise reminders before quality drops, not after it’s already bad. It also supports batch labeling when you do a big restock from Costco or a bulk store. This is not a recipe app; it’s a lightweight inventory and freshness workflow designed for real kitchens. Revenue comes from a subscription for reminders/templates plus optional label packs and printer integrations. It’s realistic: people will only use it if it’s faster than doing nothing, so the UX is built around 30-second labeling.
