LabFit
LabFit is a desktop + web app for physics students and researchers who waste hours cleaning lab data and forcing fits to behave. You import CSVs from sensors (motion, optics, circuits), the app auto-detects units, propagates uncertainties, flags outliers, and suggests physically plausible models (linear, exponential decay, damped oscillator, diffraction patterns, RC/RL, etc.). It generates publication-ready plots with error bars, residuals, and fit diagnostics, plus a short “methods” paragraph you can paste into a lab report. This is not a full symbolic math system; it’s a focused workflow tool that gets you from raw measurements to defensible results fast. It also keeps a reproducible record: dataset, transformations, fit choices, and assumptions are saved so TAs, collaborators, or reviewers can audit what you did without re-running everything manually.
