LabPlanr

LabPlanr is a web app with optional mobile companion that helps science teachers plan hands-on labs without spending hours hunting materials, writing safety notes, and aligning to standards. You enter grade, topic, available equipment, class length, and constraints (allergies, ventilation, no-open-flame, budget). The app generates a complete lab plan: objectives, materials list with quantities, setup/cleanup steps, timing, safety briefing, differentiation, and quick checks for understanding. It also produces printable student handouts and a prep checklist you can run from your phone in the storeroom. This is an AI + traditional app: AI drafts the plan, but templates, district-specific rules, and a curated lab library keep outputs realistic and safe. It’s not a full LMS; it’s a focused planning tool for labs that teachers actually run.
