LagLedger
LagLedger is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously measures and documents real-time sync performance across your stack: client-to-server, server-to-server, and async job queues. It runs scripted “sync journeys” (e.g., create/update/delete events) and records end-to-end latency, ordering errors, retries, dropped messages, and eventual-consistency windows. Teams get a timeline view that separates network delay, broker delay, consumer lag, and database write time, plus alerts when SLOs are violated. The key output is an audit-style report you can share with customers or internal stakeholders: what happened, when, and where the delay occurred. This is not a generic APM clone; it focuses on the messy boundary between synchronous APIs and asynchronous pipelines (webhooks, queues, pub/sub, CRDT sync, offline-first). Expect some setup work—value comes from instrumenting the critical paths you actually care about.
