LagLedger

LagLedger is a web app (with lightweight desktop agents) that helps engineering teams pinpoint real-time latency across the full path: client device, ISP, edge/CDN, API gateway, microservices, databases, and third-party dependencies. It continuously runs synthetic “transaction traces” from multiple regions and correlates them with your existing telemetry to produce a single, time-aligned latency ledger: what changed, where it slowed, and which team owns the bottleneck. It’s not a magical auto-fix tool—expect to still do engineering work—but it dramatically shortens the debate and finger-pointing during incidents. The MVP focuses on a few high-value integrations (Cloudflare, AWS, Datadog) and a clear “blame map” that highlights the top contributors to p95/p99 latency and jitter. Ideal for real-time apps (trading, gaming, chat, IoT dashboards) where milliseconds matter and outages are expensive.
