LagLedger
LagLedger is a mobile + web app that helps people stick with long-term habits by making the “invisible middle” visible. Instead of streaks, it models delayed rewards: you define an effort (e.g., lifting, studying, writing), a realistic lag time until results, and a simple outcome metric (strength, test scores, words published). The app then visualizes a compounding curve with uncertainty bands, shows what “normal progress” looks like, and flags when you’re still within the expected lag so you don’t panic-quit. Weekly check-ins log effort and a tiny signal metric; LagLedger updates projections and highlights leading indicators (sleep, consistency, volume) that precede results. It’s not motivational fluff: it’s a probabilistic progress dashboard designed to reduce impatience and impulsive switching between goals.
