LagSentry
LagSentry is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that monitors live streams end-to-end from real viewer locations and alerts you when latency, buffering, audio drift, or ingest issues start hurting the audience. Instead of relying on encoder stats (which often lie), it spins up lightweight “synthetic viewers” in multiple regions, measures glass-to-glass latency, rebuffer rate, dropped frames, and CDN edge performance, then correlates incidents to your encoder settings, RTMP/SRT ingest, and platform endpoints. It provides a simple incident timeline, automatic root-cause hints (encoder overload vs network jitter vs CDN edge), and a one-click “safe settings” profile per platform. This is not a consumer streaming app; it’s operational tooling for creators and small media teams who can’t afford a full broadcast NOC. Pricing is subscription-based with usage tiers by monitored channels and probe locations.
