LandedCostly

LandedCostly is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that calculates true landed cost per SKU and per shipment by pulling data from invoices, freight quotes, duties, brokerage fees, insurance, and last‑mile charges. Users forward emails or upload PDFs/CSVs; the app extracts line items, normalizes currencies, and allocates shared costs across SKUs using configurable rules (by weight, value, volume, or custom). It then produces a clean per-unit cost, margin impact, and variance vs. quote, with an audit trail you can hand to finance. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles document parsing, entity extraction, and anomaly detection; the core accounting logic remains deterministic. It’s realistic because many SMEs still do this in spreadsheets, and errors directly hit pricing, reorders, and profitability.
