LaneLedger

LaneLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for pools and aquatic centers to manage lane reservations, group bookings, and staffing in one place. It replaces the messy mix of paper schedules, spreadsheets, and phone calls that cause double-bookings, angry lap swimmers, and under/over-staffed shifts. The MVP focuses on a clean public booking page, rules-based lane allocation (e.g., lap vs. lessons vs. team practice), and a staff dashboard that flags compliance gaps like lifeguard-to-bather ratios and certification expirations. It’s a traditional app with a small AI layer that forecasts peak demand and recommends staffing levels based on historical attendance, weather, and event calendars. Realistically, this wins only if it’s dead-simple to set up, integrates with existing payment/CRM tools, and is priced for municipal and small private facilities.
