LanePulse
LanePulse is a web + mobile operations app that helps border agencies and port operators predict and reduce vehicle wait times at crossings. It ingests existing signals (lane open/closed status, staffing rosters, historical throughput, weather, incident reports, and optional camera/loop-counter feeds) and produces short-horizon forecasts (15–180 minutes) plus recommended actions (open a lane, reassign officers, stagger secondary inspections). The core value is not flashy AI—it’s reliable, auditable forecasting and a shared operational picture across shifts. The app provides a live dashboard, alerts when queues are likely to breach thresholds, and post-shift analytics that quantify what caused delays. It’s realistic because it can start with manual inputs and historical data, then progressively integrate sensors where available. Expect procurement friction and data quality issues, but the MVP can still deliver measurable improvements at a single port.
