LanePulse

LanePulse is a web + mobile app that monitors POS and checkout health across all lanes in real time and alerts staff before small issues become full outages. It ingests signals from payment terminals, POS logs, network status, receipt printers, and barcode scanners to detect patterns like rising decline rates, slow authorizations, printer jams, or lane freezes. A simple “store map” shows lane status (green/yellow/red), with guided troubleshooting steps and a one-tap escalation to IT or the payment processor including diagnostic bundles. It also generates weekly reliability reports: top failure causes, mean time to recover, and which lanes/devices are chronic offenders. This is not a new POS; it’s an operational layer that sits on top of existing systems to reduce downtime and abandoned carts. Realistically, integrations will be the hardest part, so the MVP should start with 2-3 POS ecosystems and expand.
