LarvaLedger

LarvaLedger is a web + mobile app for insect farms (BSF, mealworms, crickets) that replaces scattered spreadsheets with a single operational ledger. It tracks batches from egg/larvae to harvest, linking feed inputs, environmental readings, mortality, labor, and outputs (fresh, dried, frass). The app generates unit economics per batch (cost/kg, margin, yield variance) and produces audit-ready traceability reports for buyers and regulators. It integrates with low-cost sensors (temp/humidity/CO2) and lets farms log events offline in the barn, syncing later. A lightweight “buyer pack” exports COAs, lot history, and sustainability metrics without pretending to be a full ERP. This is not a glamorous consumer app; it’s a gritty ops tool for small-to-mid farms trying to scale without losing control of quality and profitability.
