LatchLine

LatchLine is a mobile + web app that helps new parents get reliable, short-notice support without relying on flaky friends or expensive full-time care. It combines a vetted local helper marketplace (postpartum doulas, night nannies, lactation consultants, newborn-care sitters) with “micro-shifts” (2–4 hours), transparent pricing, and simple booking. Parents can post needs like “2 hours so I can sleep,” “lactation visit,” or “meal drop + baby hold,” then match with verified providers based on availability, credentials, and reviews. An AI layer helps translate vague requests into clear tasks, suggests realistic time blocks, and flags safety/fit issues (e.g., infant CPR requirement). The app also includes a lightweight postpartum check-in to prompt parents to seek professional help when red flags appear, without pretending to diagnose. This is not a content app; it’s logistics for real help.
