LatchList is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that turns baby-proofing into a practical, room-by-room checklist tied to your home’s layout and your child’s age/mobility stage. You pick rooms and hazards (outlets, cords, cabinets, stairs, furniture tip-over, choking risks), then the app generates a prioritized plan with estimated time, cost ranges, and “what to buy” guidance without pretending to be a safety inspector. It includes a simple photo log to track what you’ve secured, reminders for re-checks (adhesives fail, kids get taller), and a shareable “caregiver mode” so grandparents/babysitters can follow the same rules. The AI component is optional: it can read your photos to suggest likely hazards, but it must always show confidence and let you confirm. The core value is accountability and follow-through, not gimmicky scanning.
