LatencySentry

LatencySentry is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) for teams running time-sensitive operations—payments, trading, logistics dispatch, customer support routing, and real-time APIs. It continuously measures end-to-end latency from the user’s perspective using lightweight synthetic probes and correlates it with your existing telemetry to pinpoint where time is being lost (DNS, TLS, edge, app, DB, third-party). Instead of generic “p95 is high” charts, it focuses on operational deadlines: “You have 90 seconds before the checkout SLA is breached” and recommends immediate mitigations like traffic shifting, feature flag rollback, or vendor failover. It also generates post-incident latency narratives and exports evidence for SLA credits. This is not a magical AIOps platform; it’s a narrow tool that turns latency into actionable, time-boxed decisions with clear ownership and audit trails.
