LayerProof

LayerProof is a web + desktop companion app for digital artists who constantly need feedback but hate exporting endless PNGs or sharing editable PSD/Procreate files. It generates a secure, view-only “proof link” that lets clients or teammates toggle layers, compare versions, leave pinned comments, and approve specific changes—without downloading the source. The desktop helper watches a working folder (PSD/PSB/KRA) and automatically publishes updated proofs with version history. Reviewers can scrub a timeline, annotate on top, and request edits tied to exact layers. Artists keep ownership: watermarking, expiry dates, download blocking, and per-link permissions are built in. This is not a full editor; it’s a review and approval pipeline designed for freelancers and small studios who live in Photoshop/Krita and just need feedback to stop derailing production.
