LayerProof

LayerProof is a desktop + web app that automatically records tamper-evident “process receipts” for digital artworks: layer history, key edits, timestamps, and optional screen-capture snippets. It exports a compact proof bundle you can attach when posting, licensing, or disputing theft. The app integrates as a lightweight plugin for popular tools (Photoshop, Procreate via export workflow, Krita) and as a standalone watcher for common file formats. Creators choose what to reveal: full process, redacted process, or hashed-only proof for privacy. Buyers and clients can verify authenticity through a public verification page without needing the original file. This is not a magic anti-theft shield—people can still copy images—but it gives artists credible evidence, reduces “AI/trace” accusations, and makes licensing conversations cleaner. Monetization: subscription for creators, per-verification links for commercial sellers, and team plans for studios.
