LBForensics
LBForensics is a web app (with a lightweight CLI agent) that helps teams debug and prove why a load balancer routed traffic the way it did. Instead of staring at scattered logs, you ingest L7/L4 access logs, health checks, config snapshots, and upstream latency/error metrics, then get a time-aligned “decision trace” for any request or time window. The product highlights common failure patterns: uneven hashing, stale endpoints, misweighted pools, DNS caching artifacts, retry storms, and region failover flaps. It also generates a shareable incident report with exact config diffs, timelines, and the smallest set of changes that would have prevented the incident. This is not a replacement for your existing LB; it’s a forensic layer that sits beside NGINX/Envoy/HAProxy/AWS ALB and makes outages debuggable in minutes rather than hours. It’s a combination app: traditional analytics plus AI-assisted summarization and root-cause hypotheses.
