LCAProof

LCAProof is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps small and mid-sized manufacturers build life cycle assessments that are defensible, not just “pretty numbers.” Instead of trying to out-feature enterprise LCA suites, it focuses on evidence management: linking each input (materials, energy, transport, waste) to a source document, supplier statement, meter reading, or invoice. It guides users through a lightweight LCA workflow (goal/scope, system boundary, data quality, allocation choices) and produces an exportable “audit pack” showing assumptions, data lineage, and change history. An AI assistant can extract activity data from PDFs and invoices, suggest mappings to common LCI datasets, and flag missing or inconsistent units—while keeping humans in control. This is realistic for teams that need credible product footprints for customers or tenders but can’t afford consultants every time.
