LCASnap

LCASnap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small manufacturers and brands run “good-enough” life cycle assessments for products without hiring consultants. Users upload a BOM, packaging specs, supplier locations, and shipping modes; the app maps items to vetted LCI datasets, estimates cradle-to-gate and gate-to-grave impacts, and produces a buyer-friendly report plus an internal audit trail. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with data cleaning, mapping line items to datasets, and flagging missing/low-confidence assumptions, but the core calculations are deterministic and transparent. The product is intentionally scoped for speed and procurement workflows, not academic-grade LCAs. Expect tradeoffs: results are only as good as the input data, and many suppliers won’t share it. The value is faster iteration, scenario comparison, and defensible documentation for customers and internal teams.
