LCCheck

LCCheck is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps exporters, importers, and freight forwarders pre-validate letter of credit (LC) documents before presentation. Users upload draft documents (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, insurance cert, certificate of origin) and the app checks them against LC terms using rule-based validation plus AI-assisted extraction. It flags mismatch risks (dates, Incoterms, consignee/notify party, description of goods, partial shipment/transshipment clauses, document counts, signatures, spelling/format issues) and produces a “bank-ready” discrepancy report with suggested fixes. Reality: banks reject for tiny inconsistencies, and most SMEs lack in-house trade ops expertise. This app doesn’t replace banks; it reduces avoidable rejections, delays, and amendment fees. It also stores templates per buyer/bank, creating repeatable workflows for recurring shipments.
