LeafSpec

LeafSpec is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps architects, interior designers, and facility teams turn “biophilic intent” into a buildable, maintainable scope. Users input project type, climate zone, daylight availability, irrigation constraints, and maintenance capacity. The app outputs a concise biophilic package: plant palettes with survivability scores, substrate/planter details, irrigation approach, lighting targets, and a maintenance plan with labor hours and replacement rates. It also generates a procurement-ready schedule (species, sizes, quantities, alternates) and flags common failure points like insufficient PAR, poor drainage, or unrealistic upkeep. This is not a dreamy mood-board tool; it’s a spec and risk-reduction tool that makes biophilic design less likely to die in value engineering or after handover. Exports to PDF and CSV for easy coordination.
