LeakLedger

LeakLedger is a web app plus optional mobile companion that lets public agencies, inspectors general, and watchdog NGOs receive whistleblower tips with a cryptographic chain-of-custody. Instead of promising “trust us,” it timestamps submissions, hashes files, and records every access or export event so investigators can prove evidence wasn’t altered or mishandled. Whistleblowers can submit anonymously through a Tor-friendly portal, choose structured categories (fraud, safety, harassment), and receive a one-way mailbox for follow-up questions without revealing identity. For organizations, the dashboard supports triage queues, role-based access, retention policies, and audit-ready reports. This is not magic: it won’t stop a determined insider from leaking identities if an organization is malicious. It does, however, make sloppy handling and quiet tampering far harder, and creates accountability that many existing “secure dropbox” tools lack.
