LeakLedger is a mobile + web IoT app for small property owners and managers who deploy off-the-shelf leak sensors and smart shutoff valves. It centralizes alerts, verifies them, and turns chaos into a workflow: confirm leak, notify tenant, dispatch plumber, document photos, and export a claim-ready incident report. The app supports multi-unit properties, simple floorplan mapping, and escalation rules (SMS/call) when a leak is detected and no one acknowledges it. It also tracks device battery health and offline status so you don’t discover dead sensors after a flood. This is not a “smart home dashboard”; it’s a focused operational tool that reduces real financial loss. It integrates with common sensors via vendor APIs where possible, and uses a lightweight gateway option (e.g., a cheap Raspberry Pi) for sensors that don’t offer reliable cloud access.
