LeakSentry

LeakSentry is a web app + browser extension that prevents accidental data leaks in everyday tools (Slack, Gmail/Google Workspace, Outlook Web, Jira, Confluence). It detects when users paste or attach sensitive content—API keys, credentials, customer PII, source code snippets, contracts—and blocks, warns, or requires justification before sending. Admins get lightweight policies (what to detect, where to enforce, who is exempt), audit logs, and a simple incident workflow. This is not a full enterprise DLP replacement; it’s a focused “last-mile” guardrail for SMBs that can’t afford or operate Microsoft Purview/Symantec. It integrates via OAuth and runs mostly client-side for privacy, only sending hashed fingerprints/metadata to the server when possible. The goal is fewer breaches caused by human error, with minimal IT overhead and fast rollout.
