LeaseLedger is a mobile + web app for people already living together who are tired of roommate money fights and “I forgot” chaos. It centralizes rent splits, utilities, shared purchases, and chore accountability in one place. Each household gets a simple ledger: recurring bills, ad-hoc expenses (with receipt scan), who owes what, and when it’s due. It also includes a lightweight “house rules” agreement (quiet hours, guests, cleaning standards) that everyone e-signs, plus incident notes for recurring issues. The goal isn’t to “find” roommates; it’s to reduce friction after move-in, when most problems actually happen. Monetization is realistic: freemium for basic tracking, paid for automated reminders, bank sync, and exportable payment history (useful for disputes or proving payments). It won’t magically fix bad roommates, but it will make accountability undeniable.
