Users upload a draft lease (PDF/DOC) and the app flags missing clauses, state-specific compliance gaps, risky language, and inconsistent terms (rent, fees, notice periods, maintenance, late fees). It generates a plain-English summary for the landlord and a tenant-facing “key terms sheet” to reduce disputes. It also offers a checklist tailored to property type (single-family, condo, small multifamily) and local jurisdiction, plus a version history so edits are tracked. This is not a replacement for an attorney; it’s a fast, affordable pre-screen that prevents obvious errors and improves documentation quality. Monetization is per-document or subscription, with upsells for e-sign, clause library, and attorney referral marketplace.
