LeaseLens is a mobile + web AI app that helps renters quickly evaluate a specific apartment and lease for hidden costs, sketchy clauses, and realistic move-in totals. You upload the lease PDF, fee sheet, and listing screenshots; the app extracts key terms (rent escalations, utilities, early termination, renewal, deposits, admin fees) and produces a plain-English risk report with a “true monthly cost” calculator. It also generates a negotiation checklist and email templates tailored to your state and the lease language you actually received. This is not a Zillow clone and it won’t magically find you cheaper apartments; it helps you avoid getting trapped in a bad deal and reduces the time wasted on bait-and-switch listings. Monetization is simple: a per-lease review fee or a low monthly subscription during your search window.
