LeaseProof is a mobile + web app that helps renters and small landlords document property condition, repairs, and communications in a way that actually holds up during disputes. Users create a “unit record” with move-in/move-out photo sets, guided room-by-room checklists, and maintenance tickets. Every upload is automatically timestamped, hashed, and stored with an audit trail so neither side can credibly claim it was altered later. It also generates a shareable PDF move-in report and a deposit-return package with annotated photos, dates, and message history. This is not a marketplace and it won’t replace Zillow or property managers; it’s a narrow tool that reduces the most common money fight in renting: security deposits and damage claims. The MVP focuses on speed, clarity, and defensible records rather than “AI magic.”
