LeaseProof is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion that lets renters submit a single reusable “verified application packet” and lets landlords/property managers validate it in minutes. Applicants link payroll (or upload paystubs), bank activity, and ID; the system generates a tamper-evident verification report, flags inconsistencies (income volatility, altered docs, mismatched names/addresses), and produces a shareable link that expires. Landlords can request consented checks (credit/background) and receive a standardized risk summary instead of a messy pile of PDFs. The brutal reality: landlords already have tools, and renters hate paying repeated fees—so the product must reduce fraud and time-to-lease enough that someone will pay. Focus on small-to-mid landlords and PMs who don’t have enterprise screening workflows, and on competitive rental markets where speed matters.
