LeaseProof is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps young adults protect themselves when renting: move-in/move-out evidence capture, repair requests, and a clean paper trail. The app guides users through a room-by-room checklist, auto-tags photos/videos with timestamp, location, and a tamper-evident hash, then generates a shareable PDF “Condition Report” for landlords. It also logs maintenance issues with templates, deadlines, and escalation steps, and stores all communications in one place. An AI assistant helps draft polite, legally-safe messages and summarizes long email/text threads into a timeline you can reference during disputes. This is not a magic legal shield: it won’t stop bad landlords, and it won’t replace a lawyer. But it dramatically improves a renter’s odds by making documentation fast, organized, and credible when money is on the line.
