LeaseSentry

LeaseSentry is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that monitors DHCP health across distributed networks and turns messy lease data into actionable alerts. It continuously checks scope utilization, lease churn, rogue DHCP behavior, and abnormal request patterns that often precede outages (e.g., sudden spikes from misconfigured IoT, VPN pools, or guest Wi‑Fi). It ingests data via Windows DHCP Server APIs/Event Logs, ISC Kea/ISC DHCP logs, and network device syslog, then normalizes it into a single timeline. The product focuses on fast triage: “what changed, where, and what to do next,” including recommended remediations like scope split, failover verification, reservations cleanup, and conflict detection. It’s not trying to replace your DHCP server—just make it observable and predictable with minimal setup and clear reporting for audits and postmortems.
