LeaseShield is a mobile + web app that turns renters insurance into something you can prove, track, and keep compliant with—without digging through PDFs or emailing agents. Users connect their insurer (or upload a declarations page), and the app generates a landlord-friendly “Coverage Card” with policy limits, effective dates, and address match. It monitors expiration, required minimums, and common lease requirements (liability limit, additional interest, loss of use) and alerts the renter before they fall out of compliance. Landlords/property managers can verify via a share link and get notified if coverage lapses. This is not a magic claims app; it’s a compliance and verification layer that reduces back-and-forth. Monetization is primarily B2B: property managers pay per unit for verification and automated reminders; renters get a free tier with optional premium features.
