LeaveBridge

LeaveBridge is a web app with an optional Slack/Teams add-on that turns parental leave into a structured, trackable work transition. It guides employees through a practical handoff checklist (projects, owners, deadlines, risks), generates a lightweight coverage plan, and keeps managers aligned on what will and won’t be done during leave. During leave, it enforces boundaries by routing non-urgent questions to the right backup and logging what was asked, so returning employees aren’t ambushed. On return, it provides a “re-entry brief” summarizing changes: key decisions made, project status, and action items. This isn’t a benefits calculator or a policy library; it’s an operational tool for teams. The product lives or dies on being faster than a messy Google Doc and less annoying than HR software.
