LeaveHandoff is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that turns a messy sabbatical transition into a structured, trackable handoff. It guides employees through a practical checklist: responsibilities, owners, deadlines, access/credentials inventory, recurring meetings to cancel or reassign, and “what could go wrong” scenarios. Managers get a clear dashboard showing readiness, risk areas, and who accepted ownership of what—so there’s accountability, not vibes. During the sabbatical, it supports optional low-touch status boundaries (e.g., emergency-only contact rules) and a single “break glass” escalation path. Before return, it generates a re-entry brief: what changed, decisions made, and where to restart. This is not a wellness app; it’s operational hygiene for leave. It’s designed to be adopted by HR/People Ops but actually used by teams.
