LeaveLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps employees and HR plan sabbaticals end-to-end: eligibility, timelines, coverage plans, approvals, and return-to-work ramp. It replaces messy spreadsheets and vague email threads with a structured workflow: request builder, manager/HR approval routing, handoff checklists, and a “coverage map” that shows who owns which responsibilities while someone is away. It also includes a lightweight return plan: goals for the first 30/60/90 days, re-onboarding tasks, and a simple pulse check to catch burnout relapse. This is a traditional app with a small AI layer: it can draft a coverage plan and handoff doc from role templates and past tickets/docs, but it won’t pretend to “solve culture.” The product is designed for SMB and mid-market companies that want a formal sabbatical policy without buying a full HR suite.
