LeftoverLoop

LeftoverLoop is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that helps solo and two-person households plan “cook once, remix twice” meals that actually get eaten. You pick 2–3 base cooks per week (like roast chicken, lentils, tray veg), and the app generates small-batch recipes that intentionally reuse components across different cuisines so you don’t feel like you’re eating the same thing. It creates a tight grocery list sized for 1–2 people, tracks what’s in your fridge with quick add (barcode/voice/manual), and pushes a realistic “use-it-by” timeline so food doesn’t rot in the crisper drawer. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI proposes remixes and substitutions based on your pantry, dietary needs, and time, but the core flows are simple and reliable. The goal is less waste, fewer decisions, and fewer sad leftovers.
