LegacyLedger is a web + mobile app (traditional app with light AI) that helps families build a practical “generational binder” before a crisis hits. It organizes the unglamorous but essential stuff: key contacts, medical history, insurance policies, property details, recurring bills, digital accounts, family roles, and end-of-life preferences. The app guides users through short checklists, then produces a shareable, permissioned dashboard for trusted relatives. It includes a “when I’m gone” workflow: who gets notified, what steps to take in the first 72 hours, and where documents live. Light AI is used to extract fields from uploaded PDFs (policies, wills, statements) and to generate a plain-language summary for non-experts. The product is intentionally boring and operational—more like a family runbook than a sentimental time capsule.
