LenderProof is a mobile + web app that helps car buyers validate whether a dealer’s financing or lease offer is actually competitive and compliant. Users scan or upload the buyer’s order, retail installment contract, or lease worksheet; the app extracts key terms (APR, money factor, residual, fees, add-ons, term, incentives) and flags common padding tactics like marked-up money factors, inflated acquisition/doc fees, hidden add-on products, or mismatched rebates. It then generates a plain-English “offer reality check” and a negotiation script with alternative target terms based on the user’s credit band and local market baselines. This is not a magic rate finder: it won’t beat banks on price by itself, but it will stop many people from overpaying due to confusion and time pressure. Monetization: per-report fee or subscription, plus optional referral to credit unions where allowed.
