LensLedger is a mobile + web app that tracks real-world resale prices for camera bodies, lenses, and accessories and turns them into a personal “gear portfolio.” You scan a barcode/serial or pick your model, and it estimates today’s sell price using recent sold listings (not asking prices) across major marketplaces. It alerts you when your gear spikes in value, when a replacement model is about to tank prices, and suggests the best venue to sell based on fees, fraud risk, and time-to-sale. It also stores receipts, warranty dates, and shutter count notes for smoother resale. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used to normalize messy listings (bundles, condition, region) and detect outliers/scams, while the core value is clean pricing data and decision support. It’s not glamorous, but it saves people real money.
